MLL Stencils

A stainless steel material that is profiled to the desired thicknesses, using photo chemical machining or etching to create recesses or leave raised areas that are subsequently apertured using laser technology.
| Typical general thickness | 0.150mm (0.006") |
| Reduced/raised thickness: | Application: |
| 0.005" | Standard pitch components & fine pitch down to 0.450mm 0.018" |
| 0.004" | Standard pitch components down to 0.3mm 0.012", CSPs and µBGAs |
| 0.008" | Standard pitch components and PLCCs, SM connectors or 'J-leg' components with co-planarity issues |
| Positional accuracy: | ± 12.5µ (0.0005") (Over 600 x 600mm) |
| Aperture dimensional tolerances: | ± 9µ (0.0003") |
| Standard material thicknesses available: | 0.100, 0.125, 0.150, 0.200, 0.250mm 0.004", 0.005", 0.006", 0.008", 0.010" Other thicknesses are available on request. |
