Tecan has developed a range of flexible stencil storage systems. These enable stencils to be kept safely in a clean, controlled environment in close proximity to production ready for immediate use without the risk of damage.

Storage wallets are manufactured in an inert, resilient polypropylene material consisting of two clear pockets, one on each side, strong enough to withstand normal handling. Wallets are hung on a suspension track and include an identification tab for ease of retrieval.

Each storage system is supplied with 10 double-sided wallets, 50 suspension tracks and adjustable feet. The single tier MSU 550 is capable of storing up to 100 stencils and the 2-tiered MTU range has twice the capacity.

All the systems are modular and can be extended sideways or upwards using additional units. Castors enable the system to become a mobile library serving several production lines and the addition of a worktop provides a dedicated stencil changing area as well as additional production workspace.
