Micro-Photo Electro Forming technology lends itself perfectly to the large batch production of micro-parts. Tecan can cost-effectively manufacture (or 'grow') one or a million micro-parts on a single mandrel at the same time, providing distinct cost and lead-time advantages over alternative technologies, such as laser or micro-milling, where parts often have to be manufactured one-by-one.

Tecan's class 1000 cleanroom facilities can also be utilised for the assembly of PEF microstructures into larger sub assemblies.
