Electroless Nickel
  • Medium phosphorous for a standard bright finish
  • High phosphorous for increased corrosion protection
  • PTFE impregnated for anti-galling

Tecan offers three functional coatings using electroless nickel.

Medium phosphorous is a standard bright finish used across industry as a protective/functional coating that plates uniformly on to complex components, i.e. blind bores and inside tubes.

High phosphorous is a semi-bright coating that offers increased uniform corrosion protection and is predominantly used within the petro-chemical industry.

PTFE coating is a nickel phosphorous process that enables the PTFE polymer to co-deposit throughout the depth of the coating and is used where there is a requirement for anti-galling, anti-friction and in hydrophobic and lipophobic applications.
