Alocrom is a chromate conversion coating of aluminium. It is primarily used in the aerospace and defence industries where a protective layer is required to improve corrosion resistance. Another benefit is that the aluminium can stay conductive using this finish.

Tecan primarily offers Alocrom 1200, however Alocrom 1000 is also available on request.
