Anodising

Anodising is a process where electrical current is passed through the component to produce an oxidation of the surface, this layer can be dyed any colour and subsequently sealed to form a protective layer.
The anodising process is primarily used for coating aluminium, however it can also be used as a pre-treatment of titanium.
Typical applications are aluminium used within the building industry, for example window frames.
Anodising finishes:
| Finish | Vat sizes (L x D x H mm) |
| Sulphuric anodising | 700 x 500 x 500 |
| Hard anodising | 1300 x 700 x 650 |
