A vacancy exists in our Regional Sales Team for a Sales Manager to cover the North of England, Scotland and with some potential for overseas travel.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will be to manage existing customers, maintaining regular contact with them and ensuring that all opportunities are maximised to meet revenue targets. You will also need to use your proven skills in sourcing new business and in negotiating profitable and sustainable relationships with new customers.
In conjunction with our 2 existing Regional Sales Managers you will also be expected to attend trade shows (UK and abroad) to generate awareness in target markets and to focus on lead generation and business growth.
The role requires a Sales Manager who is both efficient in managing their own diary and effective in administration. Adept at building excellent working relationships with internal teams at Head Office, you will ensure their support and together to achieve optimal efficiency and a cohesive planning and delivery process for Tecan customers, which maximises return on sales.
We are seeking candidates ideally educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably in an engineering or component manufacturing discipline. Alternatively you will already be a Sales Manager in the photo-chemical machining or stencils manufacturing sector, who is looking to work with an organisation which has ambition and growth potential. We are seeking a candidate who is dynamic, intelligent and capable of being both customer and business focussed.
Circa £35,000 dependent upon experience
